Antique Dutch Colonial East India 18th Century chest leather studded camphor coffer wooden trunkA lovely example of a wooden Dutch VOC coffer, leather covered storage trunk, decorated with metal studs and existing paper lining inside. This would have been used to import spices & tea from East India to Holland in the 18th Century. The chest has some historic wear and tear and a little historic damage to the lid. It would make a lovely side table as the lid is flat. Measurements are 61cm L x 40cm W x 25cm H
