To ensure consistency, they rotate every barrel by hand and age their bourbon to taste, not time. Each and every bottle of Maker's is still hand-dipped in their signature red wax at our distillery in Loretto, Ky.
On the nose, this whisky has aromas of caramel, vanilla, woody oak, and wheat. The palate is sweet and balanced with caramel, fruity essences, and vanilla. The finish is subtle and smooth.
