De ontwerpers hebben aan alles gedacht om de Sturmoviks er zo authentiek mogelijk te laten uitzien. Zo krijgt u andere camouflage-patronen voor andere jaargetijden. Ook de flight handlings zijn tot in het kleinste detail nagebootst. Er zullen 20 bestuurbare toestellen in het spel zitten. Niet alleen Il's en Migs, maar ook Stuka's, Messerschmidts, Ju87's en zelfs enkele Amerikaanse kisten. Verder zijn er nog een 35-tal niet bestuurbare vliegtuigen aanwezig, die door geavanceerde AI-piloten zullen bestuurd worden. De missies zijn zeer verschillend van aard. Natuurlijk zijn er de obligate dogfights en escort-missies, maar interessanter wordt het als uw opdracht erin bestaat om een colonne tanks te perforeren. Grafisch ziet het spel er fantastisch uit. Aan alles hebben is gedacht.Ook het multiplay-luik werd niet vergeten. Er gaan twee modes in het spel zitten: dogfighten natuurlijk en "Allied".
