CORRESPONDENCE is het alter ego van Samuel Wilson, Charleston, South Carolina, USA. Tijdens zijn revalidatie leeft en studeert hij in Frankrijk, waar hij in contact komt met een aantal in Nederland wonende musici. Al snel wordt Nederland zijn second home alhoewel hij zichzelf meer ziet als world citizen. Artistiek vindt hij in de lage landen echter wel een goede basis en krijgt zijn songwriting steeds meer structuur. Als tekstschrijver ontwikkelt CORRESPONDENCE zich als een scherpe observator en koppelt hij scherpe humor (Background), menselijk leed (Down by the river in New Orleans) en zelfkritiek (Focus 68) op zeer eigen wijze. Sinds 2008 neemt en treedt Correspondence actief op in Nederland en hij heeft hij onlangs zijn debuutalbum Correspondence Music Volume 1 voltooid.
