De bal is ontworpen voor indoor volleybal en heeft een onderscheidend en dynamisch design. De naam "HANDSHAKE" verwijst direct naar de verschijning van de bal - de rode en blauwe panelen "schudden handen", wat verwijst naar sportiviteit en fair play in sport.

Ruthie Gilmore's examination of California's prison-industrial complex paints a sobering portrait of the effects of the state's post-industrial decline in the past quarter century.
