Deze koperen drinkfles draagt een verhaal in zich. Met de hand gemaakt in India, is elke fles uniek en kan iets afwijken van de foto. Voordat je de fles voor het eerst gebruikt, kun je hem het beste een paar keer spoelen. Zo maak je ruimte voor een helder begin.

Al meer dan 200 jaar worden koperen drinkflessen (tamba) in India met zorg vervaardigd en gebruikt. In de oude Indiase Ayurveda worden de drie levensenergieën, de Dosha’s (Vata - lucht, Kapha - water en Pitta - vuur), in verbinding gebracht met het lichaam door water uit koper te drinken. Deze fles is speciaal gemaakt voor water. Daarom raden we af er melk, citrus of andere zure dranken in te bewaren.

Koper verandert van kleur door blootstelling aan lucht en tijd. Dat zie je terug in natuurlijke verkleuring en vlekken die vooral binnenin ontstaan. Dit hoort bij het materiaal en heeft geen invloed op het drinken. De fles is gemaakt van puur koper (99,6%), met een lichte laklaag aan de buitenkant. De dop bevat een rubberen randje zodat je zonder zorgen kunt drinken, zonder lekkage (0,4%). Kleine oneffenheden en donkere vegen aan de binnenkant zijn onderdeel van de natuurlijke uitstraling van koper, soms kan het zelfs een subtiel groenige tint krijgen.

Schoonmaak- en onderhoudsinstructies

  • Vermijd de vaatwasser
  • Reinig de fles met natuurlijke zeep, een zachte spons en water op kamertemperatuur
  • Voor het laten glanzen van het koper kun je citroenpartjes of koperpoets gebruiken
  • Bewaar de fles uit direct zonlicht
