Het wijnhuis Guigal werd in 1946 opgericht in het pittoreske dorpje Ampuis. Het is een klein familiebedrijf dat door de jaren heen is uitgegroeid tot een wereldberoemd wijnhuis uit het Rhônegebied. Guigal verbouwt wijn met het grootste respect voor milieu. De wijngaarden voor Guigal Crôzes Hermitage Blanc hebben een gemiddelde leeftijd van 25 jaar. De bodems van de verschillende percelen zijn slibachtig, met zand en grind. Het wordt gefermenteerd bij een gecontroleerde temperatuur van ongeveer 18 graden en een deel van de uiteindelijke wijn rijpt gedurende 12 maanden op droesem in Franse eikenhouten vaten.De geuren en smaken van Guigal Crozes Hermitage Blanc
Het resultaat is verbluffend en de familie Guigal is er trots op, zo is het de geliefde wijn van de vrouw des huizes. Mede door de ondergrond waarin de planten staan aangeplant krijgt deze wijn zijn karakter. Veel los zand, klei en gravel zorgen voor een water door latende bodem waardoor de ranken veel vocht kunnen opnemen. Dit geeft ook de rijke geur weer van deze witte Crozes Hermitage. Mooie indrukken van witte bloemen, acacia en een goede toon van eiken hout maken alles compleet.
