Zanger en componist Blaudzun heeft het afgelopen decennium zeker zijn stempel op de muziek gedrukt. Sinds de release van ‘Seadrift Soundmachine’ in 2010, hebben Blaudzun en zijn zeskoppige band grote indruk gemaakt met liveshows in clubs en festivals door heel Europa. De release van ‘Heavy Flowers’ (2012) behaalde de gouden status in Nederland en werd gevolgd door twee jaar van uitverkochte clubtours in zowel Nederland, België als Duitsland. Blaudzun speelde op festivals in Europa en de VS, zoals; Sziget, CMJ, SXSW, Pinkpop, Rock Werchter en Lowlands. Hij ontving vele awards, waaronder de Dutch Public Broadcasting Award voor ‘Beste Album van het Jaar 2012’, een Edison Award in 2013 voor ‘Beste Mannelijke Artiest’ en een 3FM-Award voor ‘Beste Alternatieve Act’. ‘Heavy Flowers’ werd opgevolgd door succesalbum ‘Promises of No Man’s Land’ (#1 in de Nederlandse albumchart), het ‘Jupiter’ drieluik en onlangs nog het alom fantastisch ontvangen ‘LONELY CITY EXIT WOUNDS’ (zijn tweede #1 notering).

‘Heavy Flowers’ werd uitgebracht in januari 2012 en belandde op de vierde plek van de Nederlandse albumcharts en verbleef in die chart maar liefst 26 weken. Na meerdere awards en tournees door Nederland, Belgie en Duitsland, lonkte ook de US met optredens op CMJ en SXSW. In januari 2013 kreeg het album ook een officiele Amerikaanse release. Het album, met de single ‘Flame On My Head’, werd veelgeprezen door in de Benelux o.a. Volkskrant, NRC, OOR en De Morgen.

I was pleasantly surprised by this omega verse book. This 1 definitely had a few new twists And I really enjoyed reading it. The main female character was a badass and awesome. She had 1 best friend I wish we could have seen a little bit more of their friendship in this book. Her relationship with the male characters was good not to contrived or super instantaneous. And we had some fun plot twists that I didn't expect. I wish we had more of a follow up on the situation with her family her background and her mother who was a wench. I would definitely recommend this book.

I wish there was more of a time frame because I felt like something’s happened quickly but they were farther away than I thought so that was a little confusing to me.
