Wijnhuis Andeluna ligt aan de voet van de Andes in Tupungato, Mendoza. De wijngaarden liggen op een hoogte van 1.300 meter – een plaatje alsof de wijngaarden de hemel raakt, zo worden de wijngaarden vaak omschreven. De moderne wijnmakerij wordt omgeven door 70 hectare met de beste wijngaarden. De perfecte combinatie van eersteklas, soms zeer oude wijnstokken, het optimale klimaat en de bodemgesteldheid in Argentinië zorgen voor heerlijke kwaliteitswijnen. Naast deze ingrediënten maakt het wijnhuis ook gebruik van de nieuwste technologieën. Zo zijn de wijngaarden uitgerust met een druppelirrigatiesysteem, waardoor de planten de exacte hoeveelheid water krijgen die ze nodig hebben. De smaak is weergaloos zo vol en krachtig met alle mooie eigenschappen van de Malbec druif. Hij kenmerkt zich door de intens rode kleur met paarse reflecties. De geur is haast onbeschrijvelijk. Complexe aroma’s van rijp rood, zoet en bloemig fruit, waarbij de typische Malbec-viooltjes opvallen. Maar ook vanille, pruimen, peper, koek, ceder, hout en tabak. De eiken veroudering geef het fijne tonen van vanille en tabak met lichte hints van witte chocolade. Het is een gestructureerde wijn met een geweldige body, met ronde en zoete tannines.
