De mousserende wijnen van wijnhuis Ponte zijn ongekend populair. Meestal gemaakt van de Glera druif die aangeplant staat in de regio Veneto en Friuli Venezia Giulia. Het wijnhuis is gelegen in het hart van de Prosecco DOCG-productieregio en heeft meer dan 50 jaar ervaring in het maken van mousserende wijnen van topkwaliteit. Dankzij hun passie voor wijnen en de Italiaanse tradities, blijven ze continu innoveren en verbeteren. De wijnen moeten het terroir perfect weerspiegelen en daarvoor worden veel verschillende moderne technologieën gebruikt. Hiermee zijn de mousserende wijnen perfect in balans. Gelegen in de regio Veneto en Friuli Venezia Giulia genieten de druiven van uitstekende omstandigheden. De wijngaard bevindt zich op kiezelgrond en dat maakt dat de druif perfect kan rijpen. Wanneer ze volledig rijp zijn, worden de druiven zorgvuldig geoogst en naar de wijnkelder gebracht. Hier worden de druiven zacht geperst en volgt de fermentatie met zorgvuldig geselecteerde gisting. De tweede gisting volgens de Charmat-methode duurt minstens 60 dagen en wordt direct na de eerste gisting uitgevoerd. Met een elegante kleur verschijnt deze Prosecco Rose in het glas. De bubbeltjes dansen subtiel in het glas. In geur frisse en fruitige aroma’s met citrustonen en hints van perzik en appel. In de smaak een verfijnde Rose die mooi in evenwicht is. Lekker sappig en elegant. De smaak is fris met duidelijke tonen van perzik, frambozen en aardbeien. De zuurgraad maakt dat de wijn mooi in balans is zonder te zoet of te zuur te zijn. De afdronk is zacht en aangenaam met wederom fruitige tonen. Excellent resource, as always from Dr Ferri. Well worth its generous weight to use a resource other than UptoDate once in a while. Besides, for us medical providers who have been in the calling many years, Ferri's Clinical Advisor 2026 is better at maintaining ones arm strength than lifting an iphone, plus safer and more accurate than the use of AI;)

You wont regret!

Love! Love! LOVE! Everything in one book! Plus you get the e-version included as well! I am in NP school and the differential diagnosis book my school required is a joke! I took a chance on this book and am so glad I did! It's a big book! So plan on leaving it on your desk or tabletop, but at least youll have access to the ebook across your devices

Sketchy citations.

Retired MD. Keeping up for the sake of family, friends and myself. I was looking for something like the “Medicine” book I had third year of med school. This is quite a bit more comprehensive. HOWEVER, the references/citations are hopelessly effed up. In the e book chapter on CHF, every reference I checked was about TRANSSEXUALISM in some way!! You authors/editors have some major work to do. I checked other chapters too. Seems even in Cirrhosis chapter the citations are to urology journals, total non sequiturs. HELP!!

Well-organised, concise and beautifully illustrated

The book can be described as concise, well-structured (being constant throughout its entirety), and quite graphic, aside from the prestigious drawings from Dr. Frank H. Netter, there's also real-life pictures included.
The online resources are well used, and they're another tool in case someone want's a quick search instead of going to the index.
I recommend this book for anyone who wants to have good knowledge of infectious diseases, without having to go to the more expensive authoritative source (Mandell, Douglas and Bennett's Principles and Practice of Infectious Diseases 9th Ed.), which is also mentioned in the preface.
