Het Sikucontrol-model van metaal en kunststof wordt gekenmerkt door de aandacht voor details die de fans weten te waarderen. De Claas Xerion staat voor een uniek voertuigconcept: vier even grote en aangedreven wielen op bestuurde assen, een vermogen van meer dan 500 PK en in de VC versie met draaibare cabine. De volledige cabine kan met een druk op de knop worden gedraaid. De rij- en stuurfunctie worden automatisch omgeschakeld naar de nieuwe rijrichting. Vooral bij het houthakken, bij het mulchen, bij werk in de silo of gebruik als sneeuwfrees zorgt dit voor een goed zicht op de achterkant. Daarnaast bestaat de mogelijkheid om het model, net als het origineel via de vooras, met de vierwielbesturing of in hondengang te rijden. Alle functies en de zes transmissies van de tractor kunnen via de app worden bediend, naar keuze via de virtuele joystick bediening of de bewegings- en kantelsensoren van het mobiele apparaat. Deze intuïtieve feature is een welkome afwisseling en zorgt voor extra plezier bij het spelen. De Sikucontrol app geeft tractorfans daarnaast nog interessante informatie over de Claas Xerion 5000 TRAC VC. Het is ook mogelijk om een naam voor de tractor op te slaan. De instellingen en functies van de app worden permanent bijgewerkt. Met behulp van de OTA (Over-The-Air)-functie van de app kunnen software-updates voor de tractor direct worden geïnstalleerd.

LOVE IT but cooling depends on readjusting frequently

I’ve actually been pretty happy with this product overall, especially for comfort and the initial cooling effect. When you first sit or lay on it, it definitely feels cool and refreshing, which is a huge relief if you run warm or live somewhere hot. Humanity continues its decades-long campaign against functional air circulation, so products like this are doing important work.
That said, I do think it’s important to be realistic about expectations. The cooling effect doesn’t stay perfectly consistent in one spot forever. After sitting or laying in the same position for a while, the area naturally warms up and you’ll usually need to shift or readjust to feel the cooler sections again. It’s not “ice cold all the time” magic despite what some listings might make people imagine.
Even with that limitation, I still think it works well and is worth purchasing. The materials feel comfortable, the quality seems solid, and it absolutely helps reduce heat buildup compared to regular fabric or cushions. I’ve found myself using it regularly, especially during warmer days and nights.
So if you go into it understanding that movement/readjustment is part of how the cooling effect works, it’s actually a very good product and noticeably more comfortable than standard alternatives.
