Flow-Control 2 Portafilter is een upgrade van Flairs oorspronkelijke flow-control technologie die oorspronkelijk werd gelanceerd tijdens hun tweede Kickstarter-campagne in 2020 en gecombineerd met NEO.

Flow-Control 2 verbetert deze technologie door een afneembare tuit toe te voegen, waardoor het mogelijk is om deze te reinigen en de beperkte tuit af te sluiten. Nu kunnen gebruikers hun portafilters zo vaak reinigen als ze willen, wat zorgt voor optimale prestaties op dagelijkse basis.

Flow-Control 2 blijft brouwers in staat stellen om elke gewenste maling toe te voegen en de hendel te laten zakken voor een heerlijke espresso. Net als voorheen werkt deze technologie door het uitgangsgat te beperken en druk op de puck te genereren om correcte extractietijden te garanderen.

Bij correct gebruik zal elke tuit een lange levensduur hebben. Maar in het geval van verlies of beschadiging kunnen klanten een vervangingsset van drie (3) tuiten aanschaffen, beschikbaar vanaf maart 2021.
