Gedurende de slaaptherapie hoopt vocht zich op in de CPAP slang, dit komt door het verschil in temperatuur tussen de slang en de omgeving in de slaapkamer. Wij adviseren om de slang na elke nacht goed schoon te maken om dergelijke vochtophopingen te vermijden. Wanneer de slang niet goed wordt gereinigd, wordt dit vocht in de slang een voedingsbodem voor bacteriën en ziektekiemen. Dankzij de zachte haartjes van de borstel wordt de slang snel, eenvoudig en effectief schoon.

Enkele aanwijzingen voor het gebruik van deze borstel

Begin met het schoonmaken van de CPAP slang in een sopje met lauwwarm water en een beetje milde zeep, bij voorkeur Pürdoux CPAP zeep. Steek vervolgens de borstel voorzichtig in de slang, zorg ervoor dat de slang hierbij zo recht mogelijk blijft liggen. Door de reinigingsborstel met korte halen heen en weer door de slang te bewegen wordt deze het snelste en beste schoon. Doe dit tot ongeveer de helft van de lengte van de slang en herhaal dit vervolgens vanaf de andere kant van de slang. Spoel de slang daarna goed af met koud water en hang de slang daarna ergens op om te laten drogen. Wanneer de slang weer droog is, is deze weer gereed voor het volgende gebruik. Let op, gebruik deze borstel niet voor het reinigen van een verwarmde CPAP slang.

This is great stuff, great hold without being greasy or turning your hair into spikes. No pungent odors. It's noted that it includes pine and sandalwood oil. There's definitely some pine, not getting any sandalwood. Regardless, it isn't a strong scent and that's how it should be. The tin is almost exactly the size of a snuff can. Expensive. But you don't really use much of it at one time.

This is a mostly great product. I only have 2 complaints - it’s really difficult to wash out, and the price. In my experience shampoo alone will not wash it out at all. Two-in-one products don't work. I have to use: 1. a shampoo 2. a conditioner 3. a shampoo again 4. More conditioner It does a really great job compared to other clays. I have short somewhat thin hair and it provides volume. It gives me the hold. I need all day. It smells great and it’s easy to work with. I wish it was cheaper.
