This compact mounting accessory is designed to integrate professional microphones cleanly and securely onto URSA Mini camera bodies, ensuring reliable on camera audio capture without compromising balance or ergonomics. Built specifically for the URSA Mini and URSA Mini Pro platform, it provides a purpose designed solution that matches the camera’s mechanical layout and professional build quality. By using a dedicated mounting system rather than generic adapters, microphone placement remains stable and predictable in both handheld and rigged shooting configurations.
The kit includes two mounting options that allow audio gear to be positioned according to the needs of the production. A flat mount supports low profile installations where minimal height and maximum clearance are required, while the angled mount raises the microphone slightly forward to improve placement and reduce interference with other accessories. This flexibility makes it suitable for compact documentary rigs, ENG style setups and larger cinema builds where multiple accessories share limited mounting space.
Installation is straightforward and secure, using dedicated mounting points on the camera body. The supplied screws ensure a firm mechanical connection, preventing movement or vibration that could introduce handling noise into audio recordings. Once installed, the mount becomes an integral part of the camera, allowing microphones to remain attached during transport and rapid configuration changes on set. This reliability is essential in fast paced production environments where speed and consistency matter.
The design is optimized for compatibility with professional microphone shock mounts and standard microphone holders, making it easy to integrate common broadcast and cinema microphones. When combined with the camera’s balanced XLR audio inputs, it supports a clean and efficient audio workflow directly at the camera, reducing the need for external mounting solutions or additional cages. The result is a streamlined setup that maintains the clean lines and usability of the original camera design.
This accessory is ideal for productions that require dependable on camera audio capture while preserving the flexibility of the URSA Mini system. It complements the broader range of camera accessories by offering a simple yet robust solution for professional microphone mounting in demanding shooting conditions.

parodies of a classic
Format: Paperback
In Shamela, Fielding gives us the behind-the-scenes true Hollywood version of Pamela's story (and it's tabloid worthy). In Joseph Andrews, Fielding shares the tale of Pamela's brother caught in the same sort of madcap antics she endured.

An Excellent Film
The success of this film is derived from Paul Schrader’s concept for the film and his hiring of his production designer, Eiko Ishioka, a Japanese female artist. The four chapters are presented in a simple setting with ingenious design while telling Mishima’s personal history and development into a Nobel price winning author and martyr for his political beliefs. This blu ray is a new restored 4K digital transfer of the director’s cut. As usual Criterion Collection also included a wealth of commentaries, interviews, a 1985 documentary about Mishima and a booklet. A very best blu ray package if you are interested in the person and subject matters.

Astonishing Movie
This is exactly the kind of movie that would never receive funding today and get within hailing distance of production. This movie was my 'gateway drug' into the dark and fascinating world of Yukio Mishima which is one of those things where, as the saying goes, "If you know, you know." This film is basically a collection of several short films woven together. One is the story of Mishima himself, from childhood up to the morning of his last day. The other shorts are taken from four of his novels, including my personal favorite, 'Runaway Horses'. For the biographical portions of the film, which are mostly in black-and-white, Roy Scheider's narration is excellent as well. All in all, this movie is a beautiful introduction to Yukio Mishima as well as an artistic triumph for Paul Schrader.
