De meest bijzondere wijn van wijnhuis Muller Catoir. De basis van deze witte wijn is der Scheurebe. De wijngaarden van Muller Catoir

Wijnhuis Muller Catoir werd al in 1744 opgericht door Johann Wilhelm Catoir. Het wijnhuis is gesitueerd in een prachtig, haast sprookjesachtig kasteel in het dorpje Haardt. Muller Catoir heeft momenteel 21 hectare aan eigen wijngaarden, waar voornamelijk witte inheemse druivenrassen op groeien. Bijzonder is dat de wijnvelden allemaal biologisch gecertificeerd zijn. De ranken voor de Scheurebe zijn tot wel 40 jaar oud! Een ongelofelijke hoeveelheid, wat goed tot uiting komt in de astronomische kwaliteit van Muller Catoir Haardt Scheurebe.
