Fiasco is een rollenspel waarin spelers samenwerken om verschillende scenes na te spelen tijdens twee acts, net zoals acteurs dat in een film zouden doen. De game is geinspireerd op donkerkomische films, zoals Fargo en Burn After Reading van de gebroeders Coen. Terwijl spelers scenes improviseren op basis van de motivaties van hun karakter en de invloeden om hen heen, kan de uitkomst voor elk van de personages positief of negatief zijn, afhankelijk van de getrokken kaarten en de beslissingen van de groep.

Dit is de eerste editie van het spel, in klassiek boekformaat.
