Mezzacorona, is een Italiaanse wijncoöperatie in hartje Trentino. Vlak bij de Dolomieten hebben zij beschikking over prachtige wijngaarden. De locatie in combinatie met de uitstekende temperaturen, de bergwind, het microklimaat en het bergachtige terroir vormen samen het ideale recept voor hoge kwaliteitswijnen. Witte wijnen, rode wijnen, Gewürztraminer en vele autochtone soorten spartelen in de goed onderhouden locaties van de coöperatieve leden. Alle leden richten zich op duurzaamheid en vermijden daarbij pesticiden. Het werk wordt zoveel mogelijk met de hand uitgevoerd, om tot de beste wijnen te komen. Castel Firmian is een serie wijnen die de trots van Mezzacorona weerspiegelen. Een zeer populaire reeks wijnen die over de hele wereld met veel plezier gedronken worden. Wanneer de Pinot Grigio druiven optimaal rijp zijn, worden ze met de hand geoogst en binnen enkele uren naar de wijnmakerij gebracht. Hier worden ze streng geselecteerd en direct geperst. Hierop volgt de alcoholische gisting bij een gecontroleerde temperatuur wat tussen de 12 en 15 dagen kan duren. 40 procent van de most wordt gefermenteerd in roestvrijstaal en de overige 60 procent in barrique. Na de gisting blijft de wijn nog 6 tot 8 maanden in barriques. Hierna worden de wijnen samen gevoegd en krijgt het nog enkele maanden rust.De geur en smaak van Castel Firmian Riserva Pinot Grigio
De geur van deze Pinot Grigio is complex met tonen van witte perzik, peer, kamille en zoete aroma’s die we te danken hebben aan de houtrijping. In de mond is het een harmonieuze wijn. This is the book you are looking for.

After searching through about four different vocab books, I finally found one I can truly vouch for: Robert's Extremely Nerdy Guide to Digital SAT Vocabulary.
Robert is actually my daughter’s SAT tutor and recommended this book. At the time, my daughter had almost given up on the vocab portion of the SAT—there were only 7 weeks left to the test date (we’re now down to just 2 weeks). Honestly, what can you achieve in that short time? Still, I decided to buy it—what did we have to lose?
Because I’d already gone through so many SAT vocab books, I knew a good one when I saw it. Just flipping through the first few pages convinced me this was the right fit, and my daughter immediately got to work. The book starts with 6 sections on word roots, then moves into 26 sections of similar-meaning words. Each chapter includes a matching activity (which my daughter finds essential for retention) and ends with SAT-style practice questions.
Since using this book, she spends much more time memorizing and testing words. I only wish we had discovered it earlier so she could have had more time to digest and apply what she’s learning. Before this, she was getting about 50% of vocab questions right on a good day; now, after just over a month with this book, she’s averaging 80–90%.
As a side note, I’m not a native English speaker, and I’ve also learned so many words by reviewing her answers. Almost every word I’ve come across in the past and thought, “I should look this up someday” seems to be in this book—a testament to why the SAT brought vocabulary back for the digital test.
This book has served my family extremely well, and I plan to start my youngest child on it earlier. Get this book, and start early.

Fantastic categories for SAT vocab
Robert’s vocab book has been a fantastic addition to my tutoring resources. My students love the ease of progression through the short chapters. It is helping tremendously with vocabulary comprehension in addition to his mock tests.
