Koffie met een exotisch fruitig aroma en een complexe subtiele smaak. De sterke body zorgt voor een stevig maar subtiel kopje koffie. Deze espressobranding is perfect voor cappuccino espresso of ristretto.

De koffie
Koffie groeit in Papoea Nieuw Guinea in de bergachtige hooglanden op meer dan 1500 m hoogte. Ongeveer 75% van alle koffie wordt door kleine boeren verbouwd. Blue Mountain koffie komt oorspronkelijk uit Jamaica. In de jaren ‘20 van de vorige eeuw werden zaden meegenomen naar PNG waar de omstandigheden ideaal bleken. Het proces:
De boeren plukken de koffiebonen in 3 tot 5 ronden. De koffiebonen worden vervolgens gewassen en in de zon gedroogd. De groene bonen worden vervolgens afgeleverd bij IDorganics. Wij branden de koffiebonen vervolgens met het ‘slow roast proces’ in onze eigen branderij tot heerlijke koffie.
