Het waren de Romeinen die de rijkdom van de bodem van Cazal Viel ontdekten en begonnen met wijnteelt. Het was een enorm gewild landgoed tijdens de Middeleeuwen en dus een reden voor hevige strijd tussen de bisschoppen van Narbonne en die van Montpellier. Het domein werd voor een lange tijd beheerd door de monniken van de Abdij van Fontcaude maar tijdens de Revolutie werd de abdij in beslag genomen en verkocht. In 1791 werd de familie Miquel eigenaar van Cazal Viel. Vandaag de dag is het gebied het grootste onafhankelijk domein in de Siant-Chinian. Met passie bewerkt door Henri en uiteindelijk ook door zijn zoon Laurent, de achtste generatie van wijnmakers. De missie van eigenaar Laurent Miquel is het maken van wijn van hoge kwaliteit. Hij wil daarbij de zuiverheid, balans en mineralen van de wijnen benadrukken. Daarbij is het voor hem erg belangrijk om de kennis en wijsheid van vorige generatie te respecteren en aan te passen aan de specifieke omstandigheden van de wijngaarden. Er wordt altijd gewerkt met een lange termijn visie, en daarbij wordt rekening gehouden met de natuur en duurzaamheid.Hoe smaakt de Auzines Rose Laurent Miquel?
Het sap is kort in contact geweest met de druivenschillen van onder andere Syrah en Grenache, hierdoor ontstaat de mooie lichte rosé kleur. Tijdens de gisting ontwikkelen zich aroma’s van rood fruit met een kruidige ondertoon. In de geur heeft deze Les Auzines Alaina Rose indrukken van rood fruit zoals frambozen, aardbeien en besjes maar ook een hint van kruiden en citrus. Very pleased

This works great, and I find it to be very effective at soundproofing. The hinge is good quality, and it rolls up easily. It is slightly on the heavier side, but that is to be expected considering its larger size. The materials used to make it are top quality, and it will last a long time.

Chauvet Hurricane Haze 4D

I’ve been a DJ for over 30 years and my lighting plays a big part in my show. I’ve used oil based fog machines which leave a residue and set off fire alarms. I’ve been using water based haze for the last 10 years and my Chauvet arena hazer finally bit the dust. I was hesitant about buying the Hurricane 4D because of the mixed reviews. After buying it and running some tests I found that you have to manually set the fan speed if you are using the wired remote. Also I found it works great if you don’t ask too much of it. I found that I can put it on continuous at roughly 20% volume and it fills and keeps the room full of haze. The haze is equivalent to a smokey bar. It allows your lights to project a cool looking beam for added effects. This hazer is about 1/4 the size of my Arena hazer but puts out about the same amount of haze. I found if you try for too much volume the heater can’t keep up and it spits and wastes haze fluid. But there is no reason for that to happen if you run it as I mentioned above. All in all I think it produces all the haze you will ever need just don’t push the hazer past it limits.
