In A Bar, Under The Sea is het tweede studioalbum van de Belgische band dEUS, uitgebracht in 1996. Het album verschijnt hier in een uitgave op 3 LP’s, wat de rijkdom en lengte van het materiaal onderstreept. De hoes werd ontworpen door gitarist Rudy Trouvé, wat bijdraagt aan het eigenzinnige, kunstzinnige karakter dat zo typisch is voor de band. De productie is gelaagd en avontuurlijk, met veel aandacht voor details, sfeer en onverwachte wendingen. Muzikaal beweegt het album zich vooral binnen het alternatieve rockgenre, maar dEUS vermengt dit met elementen uit onder meer avant-garde, artrock, jazz en indie, waardoor een eclectisch en soms filmisch geheel ontstaat. I am in the sun between the hours of 9 and 1 PM and I’m in and out of the shade and sun half of the time. Still no burning. Actually I don’t think I reapplied it at all once I got home from the beach and I was out at the pool regularly for another hour with no shade. So it seems to be pretty darn good! Some people say they don’t like the smell, but I specifically bought it because I love love love the coconut smell. My daughter says it smells like bananas but I don’t like the smell of bananas and I don’t think it smells like that. It does definitely leave a white sheen. Hence my need for make up.
