De wijngaard is een fieldblend waar verschillende rassen door elkaar gepland zijn. Vooral mencia en palomino zijn hier aangeplant.

De bodems zijn divers en complex met kalsteen, leisteen en klei.

Handmatige pluk. Vinificatie in inox met autochtone gisten.

Via de bazuqueo methode wordt zuurstof in de wijn geschoten om de tannine zachter te maken. De mencia in el Bierzo is gekend om zijn stevige tannine...

Niettegenstaande deze wijn piepjong is, heeft hij zeker nu al waarde met stevige vleesgerechten en stoofpotjes.
