Tijdens de scheutgroeifase kan een bepaalde mate van droogte-stress positief zijn om de scheutgroei te remmen, zonder dat dit ten koste gaat van de vruchtgroei. Met deze watermarkmetingen kan de teler de mate van droogtestress goed volgen en daarop inspelen met het watergeven.Ook in de boomkwekerij hebben deze metingen hun waarde al bewezen. Boomkwekerijgewassen mogen in principe nooit onder droogtestress staan.
In feite is de watermarkmeter een elektronische variant van de tensiometer. De teler plaatst de sensoren in de bodem en leest de metingen af met een los uitleeskastje. Hiermee is de teler vrij om zoveel sensoren te plaatsen als hij wil.
Het aantal sensoren is afhankelijk van de grondsoort. In zijn algemeenheid worden twee sensoren geplaatst per meetplaats. Eén op 30 cm en een op 60 cm diepte. Per bedrijf zijn zes tot acht meetplaatsen meestal voldoende om een goed beeld te krijgen van de vochttoestand. De metingen worden gecorrigeerd op basis van de temperatuur van de vochtsensor. Deze temperatuur wordt ingesteld op het meetkastje. Per bedrijf zijn twee thermometers voldoende.

It’s worth it, surprisingly

Legitimately surprised at the size and quality. I got the full size 18” height and was worried it’d be wobbly and creaky, but it’s surprisingly stable. And for $100 in this economy? Worth. There’s no noise at all, and it’s solid. Took less than 2 minutes to assemble, truly a couple clicks and 2 hand screws. The full came in 2 pieces so the compact size together is about the size of a suitcase and very flat, we could almost take this camping it’s so handy. I don’t often write reviews but I was shocked. (This is a real human)

Highly recommend
Size: Queen, Style: 14 Inch ( Foldable)
This is a great bed frame. We have bought 3 now. It is super easy to set up. Unfold and screw two large bolts to connect the two sides. No tools needed. We first bought one for grown our son to go with the 10 inch foam mattress. We thought it would be easier to manage if he were to move. Then we bought one for our foam mattress when the box springs was wearing out. Amazing ! It fit perfectly in inside our queen size bed frame with a headboard and footboard. Love it. We also bought one as stand alone frame for the guestbed foam mattress. We're happy campers! These are strong, inexpensive and much easier to move than a platform bed or box springs.

Gorgeous bed 10/10
This bed is awesome. Sturdy, beautiful, and unique. The headboard and color and quality of wood is truly stunning, especially for the price. Super sturdy slats that screw into place and make the base very solid. I am using it with no box spring and it is working great. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Not long lasting

Very pretty bed and it seemed sturdy at first, but unfortunately it didn’t even last a month. I use the bed regularly with normal everyday use no heavy activity or excessive weight and the middle support beams still gave out completely. It might work well as a guest bed that isn’t used often, but I wouldn’t recommend it for daily use. The frame actually gave out while I was simply sitting on the corner of the bed. And before anyone assumes otherwise, I’m not a large person. I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough that I felt I needed to warn others.
