At its core is a Four Thirds sensor capable of capturing Ultra HD images with 13 stops of dynamic range, ensuring rich highlights and deep shadows even in challenging lighting conditions. The advanced imaging pipeline and cinematic color science allow it to integrate seamlessly into professional live productions while maintaining a natural, film‑like look. 

The extremely small and robust housing, built around a durable magnesium alloy core, makes it ideal for discreet placement on sets, stages or rigs where space is limited. Multiple mounting points on the top and bottom provide flexible installation options, enabling creative camera angles that are otherwise impossible. Despite its size, the camera retains the full feature set expected from a broadcast system, including tally indication, remote camera control and an integrated color corrector.

Connectivity is designed for modern live workflows. Micro BNC connectors support 12G‑SDI for 10‑bit uncompressed video up to 2160p60, with embedded audio, tally and camera control from compatible ATEM switchers. When paired with an ATEM Mini, HDMI output provides full HD monitoring while maintaining camera control functionality. This ensures consistent operation across a wide range of production environments, from compact streaming setups to full broadcast control rooms.

Beyond live production, the camera also functions as a high‑quality digital film tool. Recording Blackmagic RAW directly to external USB‑C drives allows capture of cinema‑grade images for post‑production, complete with metadata, lens data and embedded 3D LUTs. This dual‑purpose design makes it equally suitable for live switching and later color‑graded content creation.
