Als de thermometer naar verloop van tijd vervangen moet worden omdat hij kapot is gegaan dan is hij dus ook afzonderlijk te koop. De Big Green Egg thermometer is onmisbaar om de temperatuur in de dome van de Green Egg te meten en te kunnen controleren. De thermometer is nauwkeurig afgesteld en meet heel accuraat de juiste temperatuur wanneer je aan het roken, bakken, braden of grillen bent.


Thermometer ijken
Het kan voorkomen dat je thermometer niet meer naar behoren werkt. Om te zorgen dat hij de juiste temperatuur blijft aangeven kun je de thermometer ijken. Demonteer hiervoor de thermometer van de deksel. Hang vervolgens de pin van de thermometer in kokend water (zorg dat hij niet de bodem raakt) en controleer of deze 100 °C aangeeft. Als dit niet zo is dan stel je de thermometer bij met de stelmoer aan de achterkant totdat deze wel 100 °C aangeeft. Vervolgens hang je de pin van de thermometer in ijswater totdat de temperatuur naar 0 °C is gedaald. Herhaal het hele proces totdat de thermometer in kokend water 100 °C aangeeft.

If you are looking for nice size cutting boards, then these are not for you! They are very small and I didnt like the etching on the cutting boards, they will get filled with things you are cutting. What I least didn't liked don't know if its Amazon fault or the vendor? But the item came in the original box the boards were in, the the top part of the box was open. Everything was in the box but the label was on the box. When I returned it to the UPS store they wanted to charge me$10.19 for a box even though it was shipped without a box finally convinced them to put in a large envelope and they still charge me $2.75. Not happy at all with this vendor or maybe Amazon?
