Propyleenglycol

Vaselinecetomacrogolcrème FNA bevat het conserveermiddel propyleenglycol. Propyleenglycol kan prikken op een aangedane huid, met name bij de baby- en jonge kinderhuid. Kies bij overgevoeligheidsreacties voor een variant zonder propyleenglycol zoals; Cetomacrogolcrème met 20% vaseline of Lanettecrème met 20% vaseline. Deze twee alternatieven worden geconserveerd door sorbinezuur.

Gebruik

Wanneer de huid droog tot zeer droog is, is een behandeling met een crème of zalf een oplossing. Is er sprake van een droge huid zonder al te veel schilfering of ruwe plekken dan volstaat de reguliere cetomacrogol- of lanettecrème. Bij een zeer droge huid is een crème met toegevoegd vaseline of een zalf een betere optie. Gebruik de vette crème of zalf minimaal twee keer per dag.
