Quality of Service (QoS)

  • Class of Service (CoS) — sets the IEEE 802.1p priority tag based on IP address, IP Type of Service (ToS), Layer 3 protocol, TCP/UDP port number, source port, and DiffServ

  • Layer 4 prioritization — enables prioritization based on TCP/UDP port numbers

  • Traffic prioritization (IEEE 802.1p) — allows real-time traffic classification with support for eight priority levels mapped to four queues

Connectivity

  • Dual-personality functionality — four 10/100/1000 ports or SFP slots for optional fiber connectivity such as Gigabit-SX, -LX, and -LH, or 100-FX

Resiliency and high availability

  • IEEE 802.3ad Link Aggregation Protocol (LACP) and HP port trunking — support up to 24 trunks, each with up to 8 links (ports) per trunk

  • IEEE 802.1s Multiple Spanning Tree — provides high link availability in multiple VLAN environments by allowing multiple spanning trees; provides legacy support for IEEE 802.1d and IEEE 802.1w

  • Optional redundant power supply — provides uninterrupted power (provided by HP 600 RPS/EPS)

Manageability

  • sFlow (RFC 3176) — wire-speed traffic accounting and monitoring

  • RMON (remote monitoring) — provides advanced monitoring and reporting capabilities for statistics, history, alarms, and events

  • Dual flash images — provides independent primary and secondary operating system files for backup while upgrading

  • Troubleshooting — ingress/egress port monitoring enables network problem-solving

  • Single IP Address Management — single IP address management for a virtual stack of up to 16 switches

  • Multiple configuration files — allow multiple configuration files to be stored to a flash image

  • GARP VLAN Registration Protocol — allows automatic learning and dynamic assignment of VLANs

  • Jumbo packet support — supports up to 9220-byte frame size to improve the performance of large data transfers

Security

  • Port security — allows access only to specified MAC addresses, which can be learned or specified by the administrator

  • Protected ports — provides increased security by allowing specified ports to be isolated from all other ports on the switch; the protected port or ports can communicate only with the uplink or shared resources

  • MAC address lockout — prevents particular configured MAC addresses from connecting to the network

  • Multiple user authentication methods —

    • IEEE 802.1X — is an industry-standard method of user authentication using an IEEE 802.1X supplicant on the client in conjunction with a RADIUS server

    • Web-based authentication — similar to IEEE 802.1X, it provides a browser-based environment to authenticate clients that do not support the IEEE 802.1X supplicant

    • MAC-based authentication — client is authenticated with the RADIUS server based on the client's MAC address

  • Switch management logon security — can require either RADIUS or TACACS+ authentication for secure switch CLI logon

  • Multiple IEEE 802.1X users per port — provides authentication of up to two IEEE 802.1X users per port; prevents user "piggybacking" on another user's IEEE 802.1X authentication

  • STP BPDU port protection — blocks Bridge Protocol Data Units (BPDUs) on ports that do not require BPDUs, preventing forged BPDU attacks

  • Secure FTP — allows secure file transfer to and from the switch; protects against unwanted file downloads or unauthorized copying of a switch configuration file

  • RADIUS/TACACS+ — eases switch management security administration by using a password authentication server

  • Source-port filtering — allows only specified ports to communicate with each other

  • Secure Shell — encrypts all transmitted data for secure remote CLI access over IP networks

  • Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) — encrypts all HTTP traffic, allowing secure access to the browser-based management GUI in the switch

Convergence

  • IP multicast snooping and data-driven IGMP — automatically prevent flooding of IP multicast traffic

  • IEEE 802.1AB Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP) — is an automated device discovery protocol that provides easy mapping of network management applications

  • Per-port broadcast throttling — selectively configures broadcast control on heavy traffic port uplinks

  • Software updates — free downloads from the Web

Ease of use

  • Locator LED (switch) — allows users to set the locator LED on a specific switch to either turn on, blink, or turn off; simplifies troubleshooting by making it easy to locate a particular switch within a rack of similar switches

  • Friendly port names — allow assignment of descriptive names to ports

  • Find-Fix-and-Inform — finds and fixes common network problems automatically, then informs administrator

  • HP/IEEE Auto-MDIX — automatically adjusts for straight-through or crossover cables on all RJ-45 ports

An amazing charger for the car that is super fast with just contact
This wireless charger mount charges much faster than my old wireless charger and now helps me keep my phone charged throughout the day just from my commute. The mount works well in my Ford Lightning display which is similar to the Tesla as well. The ability to charge at 25W really makes it faster than even plugging it in directly with a cable. This is very helpful for quick access and making sure it is always charging. The magnet is quite strong and I have no concerns of the phone falling off at all. The maneuverability of the mount is quite robust and allows the phone to sit at whatever angle you want it to. You can adjust to the side of the monitor, all the way to the top as well with articulation for fine tuning the angle on the z axis. The phone charges about 15-20% during my 15 minute commute which is huge to keep the charge up before and after work.

Super helfpul in the summer
Pros: Charging functionality supports fast wireless output. Mount design integrates cleanly with dashboard appearance. Cooling fan improves charging durability. Works well with MagSafe alignment. RGB lighting enhances visual look. Strong suction Easy to adjust to fit and manoeuvre Cons: Noise level from fan audible. Installation alignment requires precision. Lighting brightness distracting at night. Value for money higher than basic mounts.

Coolest wireless charger design I've seen
I just gotta say that this is the coolest design for a wireless charger, looks kinda futuristic. Now how well does this work? Amazingly well and truly easy to use. It is adjustable, stable and much safer for everyone. I really like this charger.

Wow that light color ring is annoying
There is no way to turn this color light off. I don't even know why it has to have a light at all. I suppose it is to tell you it has power. But the light could have been something that momentarily turns on and then off as you place the phone on. I'm a DIY'er and I'm going to find a way to take this apart and disable the light. I'll report back if I'm successful. The good news is that this mount is identical to another one I have except for the magnet charging section. I'm talking it is identical down to the knobs and metal arm so it's generic in that sense. They only changed out the magnetic section. This type of mount holds well to the screen. The charging speed seemed adequate. Not terribly fast but not slow. Wirelessly charging is always slower than plugged in. The supplied USB cable is braided and feels like quality. See attached picture. This mount is not something you'll necessarily want to use every time you drive. Therefore the color ring is annoying.

SLEEK EXTENDABLE SCREEN MOUNT
HIGH SPEED TESLA MAGSAFE POWER i picked this up for my Model 3 to see if the 25W Qi2.2 charging actually lives up to the hype during my daily work week. ✨ The CNC aluminum build is top notch and feels much more robust than the flimsy plastic mounts i have tested. It's a piece of cake to clamp onto the corner of the Tesla screen and the metal arm matches the interior aesthetics perfectly. The magnetic hold is strong enough to keep my phone secure even when i am taking sharp turns thru my weekend adventures. ✨ Performance is where this thing shines because it actually delivers the 25W speeds without overheating. The built in cooling fan is a smart design choice that keeps the temperature down during long drives. i can hear the fan if the music is off but it's barely noticeable and definitely worth it for the consistent charging speed. ✨ The RGB lighting adds a subtle glow that makes it easy to find the mount in the dark without being distracting. Having the extendable arm is a big benefit for finding the perfect line of sight without blocking the main touchscreen. It's clearly a well thought out solution for any Tesla owner who wants a professional grade charging setup. THE VERDICT This is a exceptional piece of hardware that delivers real world results for high speed charging. The combination of active cooling and a sturdy metal build makes it a first class addition to my car. 'As a 35 year veteran of the computer technology industry, I offer informed and experienced perspectives in my product reviews.' I will update this review if anything changes within 1 year. ★★★★★ (5 Stars): A 5 star rating indicates the product meets my expectations for its purpose.
