Deze 29ste editie van het Jaarboek onderzoekt wat digitalisering betekent voor armoede en armoedebestrijding. De samenleving digitaliseert in sneltempo en dat brengt heel wat kansen en uitdagingen mee op diverse levensdomeinen. We krijgen inzicht in de belangrijke rol van sociale ondersteuningsnetwerken voor digitale inclusie en in de digitalisering van het sociaal werk. Wat is het nut van online gezondheidsinformatie en heeft iedereen daar toegang toe? Wat betekent de invoering van het elektronisch artsenvoorschrift voor kwetsbare doelgroepen? Het boek bespreekt een aantal gevolgen van de digitalisering voor de arbeidsmarkt. Robotisering kan menselijke arbeid vervangen, wat een belangrijke uitdaging voor onze toekomst vormt. Moeten we niet nadenken over een belasting op robots of artificiële intelligentie? Biedt de digitale platformeconomie voldoende arbeidskansen en werkzekerheid? De digitalisering dwingt ons ook om stil te staan bij ethische kwesties, zoals de impact van big data op mensen in armoede. Ook cybercriminaliteit verdient onze aandacht. Het Netwerk tegen Armoede belicht aandachtspunten van digitalisering vanuit het oogpunt van zijn achterban. Het themadeel sluit af met een essay over de rol van technologie in het oplossen van sociale problemen.

Uiteraard bevat dit boek ook een aantal meer algemene analyses over armoede en sociale uitsluiting. I found myself needing a keyboard case for my iPad pro (10.5 inch). I stumbled across this one with great reviews. Once I opened the box it arrived in, it lived up to its reviews. The case feels smooth and appears to have great quality. The keys on the keyboard sound like a typewriter which I love. I was unaware that the keyboard lit up but to my surprise the lighting was extremely bright even in the daylight. The weight of the both the keyboard, iPad, and case all together feels as heavy as a FiveStar notebook. Connecting the keyboard to the iPad was the easiest part because once you pop your iPad in the case and turn on the keyboard and press the connect button you head to the bluetooth settings of your iPad to pair them. Performance wise sometimes the keyboard snoozes after a few minutes of not being used and takes a second to start typing again. Besides that it works great when you’re constantly typing. Overall I love the color of the case and it’s definitely a money spent well.

I love this case! I have used the case forever now, I wanted something to cover my screen when not in use I have had my iPad in my purse or in my car my kids have handled it and my iPad has stayed in perfect condition. I just started using the key board. I don’t like how flat the keyboard is but it’s a good keyboard when comparing prices it does what it needs to! The magnetic closures are strong! I have some off brand pencils but have not tried the slot that holds a pencil yet but looking at it I can see how it could hold a pencil better than a Samsung tablet I have does as the case to that one the slot is on the outside and does not hold the pencil well.
