Quasi Skateboards is in 2015 opgericht in Ohio door Chad Bowers, samen met Gilbert Crockett, Tyler Bledsoe en Jake Johnson. Het merk staat bekend om experimentele grafische richting en een artistieke benadering van skateboarden die verder gaat dan de meeste merken. De deck

De Quasi Skateboards Gas Station Deck in 8.25" is een team model popsicle deck gebouwd op de Q74 shape en gemaakt bij BBS — ook bekend als Generator, een van de meest gerespecteerde woodshops ter wereld. 7-laags Noord-Amerikaans maple. 8.25" breed, 32.375" lang, wheelbase van 14.375".

De Q74 shape is iets langer dan een standaard 8.25" popsicle deck en heeft een uitgebreidere wheelbase van 14.375" — dat geeft een stabielere rijpositie bij hogere snelheid, meer controle bij lock-ins in grinds, en een solider gevoel bij landingen. De 8.25" breedte blijft veelzijdig genoeg voor tech street en flip tricks. De Gas Station graphic past bij de directe, no-nonsense naam: een strak design zonder overdreven elementen.

Gas Station versus Illuminati

Beide zijn Quasi team decks in 8.25" gemaakt bij BBS. Het verschil zit in de shape. De Illuminati heeft de Q41 shape: 32.125" lang, 14.25" wheelbase — compact en responsief. De Gas Station heeft de Q74 shape: 32.375" lang, 14.375" wheelbase — iets langer en stabieler. Kies de Gas Station als je meer stabiliteit wil binnen hetzelfde 8.25" formaat.

De Gas Station in 8.25" is de meest veelzijdige maat voor de meeste riders: smal genoeg voor tech street en flip tricks, lang genoeg voor stabiliteit bij hogere snelheid. De Quasi Gas Station in 8.25" is voor riders die een veelzijdig street deck willen met iets meer stabiliteit dan een standaard 8.25". De langere Q74 geometry geeft het deck een solider gevoel onder de voeten zonder de responsiviteit in te leveren. Combineer de deck met trucks van 139mm voor de beste wielclearance. I bought this combo pack because I had one of those deep cysts on my chin that I knew wasn't coming out anytime soon. I already knew the hydrocolloid patches for whiteheads would work, because hydrocolloid bandages work just fine for drawing things out of zits that have come to a head. I was more reluctant about the deep patches, with the microneedles, because it just seemed like nonsense that couldn't possibly work. They DO work! I put one on that deep cyst and when I woke up, it was 75% smaller than it had been when I went to bed. I couldn't believe it. I was so impressed that I actually said so out loud, to myself, alone, in my bathroom. Normally, that thing would've stuck around for weeks, getting angrier and redder but never coming to a head. I used one again the next night, and in the morning, it was pretty much gone, and it never came back. I highly recommend these. One issue I have with them is that peeling them off the backing it a bit of a delicate process. You have to be careful not to fold the edge over onto itself, which is easy to do because they're so small and thin. You also have to make sure to place them in the exact right place the first time. But despite these problems, I still gave them 5 stars because they work so well, so there's that.

Worked like a charm

I’ve tried other acne patches before and they’ve always pulled excess oil out of my pores, which ended up drying, scarring, and leaving behind a dry patch when compared to the rest of my face. These effects were especially bad for my cystic acne, which always ended up more inflamed and painful after treatment. The Rael hydrocolloid patches gently pulled out all of the sebum from several pimples that I’d avoided picking at; with other brands, the patches only pulled anything out from pimples that had already been picked at/burst. The micro needle patch also relieved my cystic acne overnight. The pimple is no longer inflamed or painful. When I took the patch off, I could see the liquid and oils that it had pulled out BUT didn’t experience the scarring I have with other patches. Other reviews mention that the patches are fragile, but I don’t necessarily think that’s any different from the other brands I’ve tried. I had no problem trying to get one out of the package on the first try. Overall, I think these are a really good fit for folks with oily skin who experience scarring with other patches. These definitely pull more sebum and not as much oil, so you should see your pimples decrease in size without adding to the inflammation. The patches adhere well and stayed on all night without peeling off (even though I’d accidentally bunched up some edges on the hydrocolloid patches when applying). I’m definitely going to keep a stock of both types readily available!

I suffer from cystic acne (on my chin and jawline, so probably connected to hormones) as well as dematillomania, or skin picking disorder. It's so hard for me to not pop the big honkers, especially when these painful zits have been around for days/weeks. I kept the patches on overnight, and in the morning I found both had reduced significantly in size. The zits are well on their way to healing, and I finally feel like I will be able to treat cystic blemishes effectively and go concealer-free in the coming months. I never write reviews, but I felt I should share this experience with Rael patches. Acne can be so mentally debilitating, and I've been helped by a lot of fellow acne sufferers who share their experiences in product reviews. I hope my review is helpful for someone else. Thank you Rael, for a truly game-changing cystic acne treatment!
