Minimum meetbereik: +35 5°C tot +42°C.

Meetnauwkeurigheid: +/- 0 1°C / -0 15°C

Gebruik
1. Voor de meet procedure moet worden gecontroleeerd of de vloeistofkolom minstens onder de 36 °C ligt.
2. Reinig de glasthermometer voor en na gebruik.
3. Plaats de thermometer op het lichaam oveeenkomstig het type meting (oraal rectaal axillair en vaginaal)
4. Na minstens 4 minuten heeft de thermometer de lichaamstemperatuur opgenomen. 
De meet vloeistof in de meet capillair van de thermometer toont de gemeten lichaamstemperatuur op de temperatuurschaal.
Het aflezen van de temperatuur wordt door de bijgevoegde loephuls vergemakkelijkt.
5. Na de meting moet de weergavevloeistof minstens terug worden gebracht tot onder 36 °C. 
Daarvoor moet de thermometer zo ver mogelijk aan het bovenste uiteinde worden vastgenomen en met minstens 15 tot 20 snelle bewegingen vanuit de pols worden geschud.

Oraal - meettijd: min. 4 minuten normale temperatuur 37°C. De orale meterin geniet de voorkeur van artsen. 
Zij levert snel nauwkeurige resultaten. 
De punt van de thermometer (voeler) wordt in de holte links of rechts van de tongwortel aangebracht

Rectaal - meettijd: min. 4 minuten normale temperatuur 37 6°C. 
De rectale methode wordt bij voorkeur bij kinderen gebruikt. De punt van de thermometer (voeler) wordt daarbij in de anus ingebracht (ca. 2 cm) waarbij op de punt een beetje huidcreme of babyolie kan worden aangebracht. 
U kunt een beschermhuls voor uw thermometer gtebruiken. Plaats de thermometer in deze beschermhuls. Smeer de beschermhuls voor de meetvoeler in met een wateroplosbare gel om het inbrengen te vergemakkelijken. Gebruik geen vasline. De punt van de meetvoeler moet niet dieper dan 2 cm in de anus worden ingebracht.

Waarschuwingen
De thermometer bezit een hermetisch afgesloten hygienisch glasomhulsel en is onbeperkt desinfecteerbaar.

De temperatuur van het reinigings- en desinfectie middel mag 39°C niet overstijgen.

De reiniging van de glasthermometer voor en na gebruik kan met koud zeep water gebeuren.

won't fit Churchill length or 60-ring diameter cigars

This is a good-looking device, solidly built, with a handy twist-out punch in the top and a humidity gauge in the bottom. The hygrometer is pointless, because there is no way to add anything to actually maintain the humidity, and since I would only use it to bring a cigar to a gathering, it really does not need to maintain that humidity for the 20-minute drive. What really bugs me about this is the actual useable size. I primarily smoke 2 types of cigars, 54-ring Churchills (which are 7") and 60-ring Gorditos (which are 6"). Although the overall length of this is 8 1/4", the listing never mentions the interior space, which seems to be just under 6 1/2" when closed. My Montecristo sticks out about 1/4" when I insert it, and that does not take into account the 1/4" that the top pushes into when closed (that silver-colored area is solid), thus less than 6 1/2" useable length. Even out of the wrapper, my 60-ring Gorditos sticks when I try to push it in, so I'd have to take off the band(s) to force it in, and it would not slide out very easily, so I would mangle the cigar trying to get it out. So, this can hold a cigar that is 6" or less and maybe 54-ring without the wrapper. Anything else, and you would have to force it in and force it out. So, this unit, while very good looking and well built, does not work for my cigar needs.

What an incredible value and amazing quality!
When this came up, I had to get it! I have several differrent cigar cutters, punches, and other accessories, but none compare to this one! It feels like a high quality knife, but is a cigar tool that does it all. I thought it was weighted, but was only the quality steel and components I was feeling in my hand. I took it to the cigar store I go to and asked if they had seen anything like this. They said yes, but are usually $75+ when you find them. It opens in your palm with a simple squeeze between the fingers and palm. The steel feels like quality in your hand, and when you open it and see both a V and standard cutter as the main parts, it seems like that's all it does. Nope.....it also has a poker on one side and a circle punch that folds out on one end. It is so easy to use and is something you will want to show your cigar smoking friends, as well as sharing it with them. It works extremely well and is an incredible value at this price. Highly recommended for any cigar smoker!
