Kathy en Gary Jordan namen in 1992 het door Gary’s ouders aangekochte wijndomein over. Ze hadden beiden al de nodige wijnervaring in het buitenland op gedaan, en nu was het tijd voor hun eigen wijnavontuur. Gary is vanaf het begin al betrokken bij het wijndomein van zijn ouders. Zo was hij betrokken bij de volledige aanplant van alle druivenrassen. Hij gebruikte zijn kennis om het terroir te analyseren en zorgde ervoor dat elke druivenras op de juiste plek werd aangeplant. Tot op de dag van vandaag kan hij hiervan profiteren. De wijngaarden zijn inmiddels volwassen en hebben geweldige complexiteit weten op te bouwen. Het is een echt familiebedrijf waarbij kwaliteit voorop staat. De Riesling druiven worden pas geoogst zodra ze een perfecte balans tussen suiker en zuurgraad hebben bereikt. In de vroege ochtend worden ze zorgvuldig geoogst zodat ze hun frisheid kunnen behouden. In de wijnmakerij wordt ze vrijwel direct geperst in een pneumatische pers. Het sap bezinkt 2 dagen in de tank waarna het heldere sap van de droesem wordt gehaald. Er volgt een koude gisting bij 15 graden in roestvrijstalen tanks. De wijn krijgt nog even wat rust en wordt vervolgens gebotteld.Een tropische wijn uit Stellenbosch
Met een goud gele kleur schittert deze The Real McCoy Riesling het glas. De geur is expressief met tropische aroma’s van ananas en perzik. In de geur komt ook lichte hints van vanille en boter voorbij die de wijn net wat vettiger maakt. De smaak is heerlijk gebalanceerd met fijne zuren. Het fruitige karakter van de wijn krijgt alle ruimte en zet door tot in de afdronk.Shipping Notes

Way above expectations

I was originally looking to purchase a more expensive brand to match the smaller purifier I own but this one was on sale, considerably less expensive than the one I had my eye on. I decided to give the mooka a shot and I was highly impressed. Being a smoker, I was just looking for something to help a little with air quality, I was not expecting this thing to completely filter all the air in the room, removing all the smoke and leaving behind completely pristine, clean air in 30 minutes! As I was smoking, the purifier automatically kicked into high gear, did its job and returned to the near silent setting. Awesome! The machine displays a number that corresponds with the current air quality and a light that changes from red to green, depending on the amount of particles in the air while the fan speed runs accordingly. This feature works well, smoking, cooking or anything that releases particles will instantly be detected. The build quality is on par with the more expensive unit that I have but honestly, I prefer this machine, regardless of price! During normal operation, you can barely hear it but it does get louder when the fan ramps up. On it’s higher setting, it is as loud as a box fan on medium speed and when the mooka goes max speed, it matches the sound level of a box fan set to high speed, if that helps.

Solid purchase for everyday use.

Can’t really say to much about these. They have a strong magnet and are durable enough for everyday use. I use them to hang my compression leggings from normatec as well as other accessories. They work well and are at an affordable price. Hook size is ok. I feel like most items you would hang have no issue. Have not loaded them with to much weight but I’m sure they can hold a fair amount.

I keep buying more of these for fitness equipment storage. I got long and short hook models and very strong magnets hold up pull down attachments weighing 10lbs or more. Works great for belts, carabiners and anything you want to organize in the weight room.
