Het Starboard SUP Board Opblaasbaar Sprint Deluxe 14'0 x 29 is een opblaasbaar race-SUP board dat speciaal ontworpen is voor snelheid op vlak water, met een breedte van 29'' (73.7 cm) voor maximale stabiliteit in de Sprint-lijn. Het board meet 14'0'' x 29'' x 6'' met een volume van 333 liter, geschikt voor rijders tot 105 kg, en weegt 11.9 kg. De Fusion Woven Dropstitch constructie combineert met heat-welded rails voor een volledig luchtdichte, mechanisch gebonden naad zonder het risico dat lijm na verloop van tijd verzwakt. De gepatenteerde Airline Technologie maakt gebruik van een vrij zwevende aramidekabel die, wanneer opgepompt, spanning krijgt en de buiging van de romp met circa 1.8 cm vermindert ten opzichte van standaard opblaasborden - het resultaat is een vaste, vertrouwde vlakke romp.

Voor extra stijfheid beschikt het Sprint Deluxe over twee carbon stringers op het dek en een carbon center stringer op de romp, waardoor elke peddelslag volledig wordt overgedragen zonder energieverlies. Het EVA staand tray biedt grip en stabiliteit, terwijl de rail edge technologie de weerstand vermindert en de glijprestaties optimaliseert. Bij het board is een Race 23'' fin met positief drijfvermogen inbegrepen, samen met een Tiki pomp met manometer, een lichtgewicht leash van 70 g, een STAR Mount voor accessoires en een grote transporttas van gerecycled plastic. This highly engaging, award-winning book is the best introduction for non-specialists that I’ve come across that offers an intelligent alternative to the existential meaningless implicit in the materialist paradigm. Woollacott, a recently retired neuroscientist, takes readers on her quest to reconcile the objective world of her scientific study with the meditation experiences of her personal life. For most of her career, Woollacott kept her subjective experiences separated from scientific work. Having now retired from active scientific research, she now explains in this book how she came to construct a coherent worldview which synthesizes quantum physics, Hindu philosophy, and her own meditation practice. Having read numerous books in this genre, I most appreciated her intelligent exposition of scientific studies for the non-specialist, explaining how she came to favor panpsychism over materialism, all framed within her own life-long journey towards answering life’s biggest questions. I will gladly return to this book frequently as I try to help students consider an alternative to the materialist paradigm.

I couldn't put down this book! It's a fascinating account of one scientist's personal and professional journey to the heart of the mind/brain problem: which is primary? Marjorie Woollacott's account of her own scholarly research and her attempts to integrate her profound experiences of perfect awareness through the path of meditation is a tale for our times. Ms. Woollacott has done an amazing job of beginning to document the nature of the conscious substrate that forms the very foundation of our existence, and she does so in a scientifically responsible fashion. An endeavor of this nature by a professional scientist takes not a small amount of courage because this is a topic that is ignored and often ridiculed by many mainstream scientists. The fact that we have attained a large body of evidence that points ineluctably to the reality of non-corporeal consciousness in the universe is enough to warrant serious investigations into this phenomenon, and hopefully this erudite work and others like it will spur further scholarly investigations into this subject of overarching importance. As an added bonus this book is a thoroughly enjoyable and stimulating read; it's hard to put down once you start reading. Logical, Coherent, and Inspiring

I have read an infinite number of books on the nature of reality and our spiritual nature and I don't hold back in saying that "Infinite Awareness" is one of the best. Ms. Woollacott's book is logical, coherent, and inspiring. It can be challenging but it is 100% beyond many New Age tropes. While the book does repeat several well known NDEs and again discusses Ian Stevenson's studies on reincarnation, it is always with a fresh approach. In addition, this is one of the very few books that discusses our power to create our own reality through intention. Though not mentioned in the book, to me it is a tribute to the groundbreaking work of Werner Erhard and the Est Training of the 1970s.

A very interesting read of a scientist (a neuroscientist) who began as a nonbeliever in anything outside of empirical, mainstream science. Her encounters with patients near death experiences (NDEs) during surgery slowly convinced her otherwise. She also had read Ian Stevenson's seminal work on reincarnation (published in the 1960s), and Raymond Moody's book (Published in the 1970s) on NDEs. She also came to believe that reincarnation and the spiritual realm are real, not fiction. Our earthly science is very far from understanding these aspects of reality. Scientists can't even explain consciousness An excellent read. highly recommended..
