Hart Brothers opgericht in de late 19e eeuw in Paisley onder de rook van Glasgow. In 1964 begonnen de broers Iain en Donald Hart er een wijn- en drankhandel van te maken. Alistair voegde zich in 1975 bij het duo als chief blender. Na zorgvuldige selectie worden de mooiste vaten aan het assortiment toegevoegd. Het smaakprofiel van de Hart Brothers is vaak de echte klassieke whisky. Niks voor niks is hun slogan: The spirit of excellence.
