Paolo Scavino is een historisch wijndomein in de Barolo regio opgericht in 1921 in Castiglione Falletto. Tegenwoordig leidt Enrico Scavino samen met zijn dochters Enrica en Elisa dit familiebedrijf dat staat voor eigenzinnigheid en karakter maar hij combineert dit op een fantastische manier met moderne technieken. Zijn meer dan 60 jaar ervaring heeft hem geleerd te investeren in een goede cru Nebbiolo om de eigenheid van elk terroir tot uiting te laten komen. De wijnen staan dan ook één voor één voor een zuivere expressie van elk terroir complexiteit en elegantie. De Scavino familie bezit 29 ha eigen wijngaarden maar bewerkt daarnaast ook nog 20 historische Barolo wijngaarden gelegen in Castiglione Falletto Barolo La Morra Novello Serralunga d’Alba Verduno en Roddi. De specifieke vinificatie die wordt toegepast levert meesterlijke fruitige en krachtige Barolo’s op die erg gewild zijn. Eén van de eerste Grand Cru gemaakt als 'single vineyard' Barolo. Drukt het imago en de identiteit van Paolo Scavino uit. Bric del Fiasc een klassieke uitdrukking van Nebbiolo die tijd nodig heeft om al haar complexiteit te laten ontwikkelen.Een Barolo met aardse ondertonen veel fruit en levendige en verfijnde tannines. De zuren ondersteunen de belangrijke structuur en openen de neus die complex en mineraal is met tonen van balsamico. Het klein rood fruit en zoethout in de mond zijn typisch voor deze Bric del Fiasc. 100% Nebbiolo. Nebbiolo van wijngaard Fiasco (1979 1984) in Castiglione Falletto. In de streek van de Fiasco wijngaard komen de Tortonien en Helvetian bodem bij elkaar wat zorgt voor een grote finesse en kracht. Oogst gebeurt manueel normaal gezien in het tweede deel van oktober.

soft finish for upper lip and chin area
I pay close attention to fine facial hair, especially around my upper lip and chin area. Under strong lighting, those small hairs can appear more visible, so I have been looking for a gentle way to care for this area without anything harsh or overly complicated. At night, after cleansing my face and completing my basic skincare, I apply this oil as the final step. It feels like a light finishing layer over the skin. I use a very small amount, about one or two drops, warm it between my fingertips, then gently press it onto the upper lip and chin area. There is no stinging sensation, and the scent is very mild, which makes the application feel calm and comfortable. The texture feels lighter than expected. It spreads smoothly and settles quickly without leaving a heavy or greasy film. My skin type leans slightly combination, and in my case it sits well without making the T zone feel overly coated. Even when I follow with a light moisturizer, it layers without pilling and still feels breathable on the skin. After using it regularly every three days in the evening, the change I notice is mainly visual. The fine facial hair looks less pronounced under bright lighting, especially around the upper lip area. The skin surface also appears more even, and when I touch it, it feels smoother and less uneven in texture. These changes feel gradual rather than sudden, becoming more noticeable over time. From a makeup perspective in the morning, my base applies more evenly after cleansing. Foundation tends to sit more smoothly around the chin and upper lip area, without clinging to texture.
