Sari is een Israëlisch-Amerikaanse mensenrechtenadvocaat, wier passie voor vrijheid haar ertoe brengt de Westelijke Jordaanoever te doorkruisen en het op te nemen tegen de Israëlische autoriteiten in rechtszaken namens Osama en anderen die worden onderworpen aan strenge reisbeperkingen. Hun verhaal laat zien hoe zij hun plaats in de Israëlisch-Palestijnse samenleving proberen te vinden. De pogingen van Sari en Osama om hun relatie onder vrijwel onmogelijke omstandigheden in stand te houden, tonen de vervreemding en scheve verhoudingen die een halve eeuw militaire bezetting van Palestina tussen Palestijnen en Israëliërs heeft gecreëerd. ‘Maqloubah’ betekent ‘ondersteboven’ in het Arabisch, naar het traditionele Palestijnse kip-en-rijstgerecht waarvan de pot, zodra het koken voltooid is, ondersteboven op een serveerschaal wordt gezet. Sari en Osama ontdekken dat belangrijke aspecten van hun twee verschillende werelden lijnrecht tegenover elkaar lijken te staan en nauwelijks ruimte laten om van de ander te houden.

Simple, Comfortable, and Exactly What You Expect

These are pretty much exactly what you want from a set of dumbbells — simple, functional, and no nonsense. The neoprene coating gives them a comfortable grip and keeps them from feeling slick in your hands, especially during longer workouts or if your hands get sweaty.
The coating also helps keep them from banging up floors or making as much noise compared to bare metal weights, which is nice if you’re working out at home.
