De batterijlevensduur is meer dan 1000 uur. De kaarsen gebruiken 2 x C-batterijen (niet inbegrepen) en hebben een ingebouwde timer van 6 uur. De afstandsbediening (apart verkrijgbaar) biedt vier timeropties (4, 6, 8 en 10 uur) en drie dimopties. Houd er rekening mee dat de afstandsbediening dichter bij gekleurde kaarsen dan bij witte kaarsen moet worden gehouden om ze te bedienen.
