Hierdoor gaat het niet naar ruiken. Zelfs niet na een dag zwoegen door de bergen. Merino wol is ook heel sterk en kan gewoon in de wasmachine met de spijkerbroeken. Zolang er maar weinig wasmiddel gebruikt wordt op 30 graden. (Wol nooit in de Woollite weken. Daar verbrandt het chemisch van en dan vallen er gaarjes in.)
