I suggest allowing the product time to sit on the counter(without it's lid), before using. This helps the smoky odor dissipate, as it can be overwhelming if you are not used to it. The size of this Batana Oil is generous and well worth the price. Give it approximately 12 hours to "air out" and apply as directed. I will definitely be sticking to this brand from now on.
