José Chaves richtte in 1955 aan het meeste westelijke uiteinde van de Atlantische Oceaan de Chaves wijnmakerij op. Van generatie op generatie dezelfde liefde voor wijn werd doorgegeven. In 1986 was de wijnmakerij een van de eersten die wijnen op de markt bracht die beschermd werden door de benaming "Vinos de la Tierra", wat de oorsprong van de Albariño del Salnés garandeert. En daarmee hebben ze de wijnen uit de Rias Baixas duidelijk op de kaart gezet. Vandaag de dag staat de derde generatie met trots aan het roer van het o zo succesvolle wijnhuis Chaves. Bij optimale rijpheid worden de druiven volledig met de hand geoogst. Dit wordt gedaan zodat er in de wijngaard zelf al een strenge selectie kan plaatsvinden. Hierdoor wordt de hoge kwaliteit gegarandeerd. De druiven worden in kleine kratjes naar de wijnmakerij gebracht. Hier volgt een fermentatie bij een gecontroleerde temperatuur. Tot slot rijpt de wijn nog 5 maanden in roestvrijstalen tanks voordat deze gebotteld wordt.De fris fruitige smaak van Silva Daponte Mencia
Met een heldere kersenrode kleur verschijnt de Silva Daponte Mencia van wijnhuis Chaves in het glas. Prachtige schitteringen zie je als je even de tijd neemt. Tijdens het inschenken komen de duidelijke aroma’s je al tegemoet. Kersen, frambozen en rode bessen vergezellen elkaar in de fruitige geur. Maar ook bloemen en een lichte hint van drop vormen zich bij het pallet. De smaak is verfrissend met overduidelijk fruitige tonen. Perfect socket for the job

I purchased this 24mm socket specificaly to remove the oil filter housing on my Ram Promaster 2500 truck.
Since there is limited space to get a standard socket in this area, this low profile socket was able to do the job without requiring me to loosen and push aside other components.
I like that this socket is light weight, made of aluminum with large easy to read size eched into the body. the oil filter housing is made of plastic and does not require a beefy heavy steel socket. The walls on this socket are plenty thick as to cause me no concern about durability.
To me, the green color is a nice touch as will be easy to spot in my socket set for the oil changes.
