Het mechanisme is gemaakt van hoogwaardig staal, zoals bij alle U-10 ratels van Gedore.De ratel heeft een omschakel-pal, een drukknop-ontkoppeling en een terughaalhoek van 7,5 graden. De slipvaste 2-componenten-greep heeft een ophanggat. De ratelblokkering klikt automatisch vast in de middelste stand, zodat je de ratel zowel rechtsom als linksom kunt gebruiken voor handbediende verbindingsstukken met vierkantaandrijving.
De Gedore Omschakelbare ratel 1/2 is vederlicht, slechts 340 gram, en daardoor ideaal voor werkzaamheden boven het hoofd.

A very good treatment of the subject matter, especially valuable as it mines the Japanese sources, which have largely been ignored by the Western historians. The narrative is clear and easy to follow & background detail gives important context into the psychological aspects of the events. Definitely recommended!
