De remontluchter vacuüm is een vacuümpomp die wordt aangesloten op de luchtslang van een compressor. Met behulp van het vacuüm dat deze pomp creëert, kan remvloeistof efficiënt uit het remsysteem worden gezogen. De remontluchter wordt direct aangesloten op de remklauw.

Bij het bijvullen van nieuwe remvloeistof vul je het reservoir van de hoofdremcilinder. Zorg ervoor dat het reservoir niet volledig leeggezogen wordt tijdens het vacuümproces, omdat dit lucht in het remsysteem kan brengen, wat dan opnieuw ontlucht moet worden. De afgezogen remvloeistof wordt opgevangen in het reservoir van de remontluchter.
