Envínate - 'wijnmaak jezelf' - is het project van vier vrienden die elkaar ontmoetten tijdens hun oenologiestudie aan de universiteit van Miguel Hernández in Alicante: Roberto Santana, Alfonso Torrente, Laura Ramos en José Martínez. Hun filosofie is eenvoudig: laat elk perceel zichzelf uitdrukken via traditionele wijn- en wijnbouwmethoden. De Benje-wijnen komen van wijngaarden in Santiago del Teide, hoog op de noordwestelijke vulkanische hellingen van Tenerife, op een hoogte van circa 1.000 meter. De stokken zijn vrij-staand, niet geleid, organisch geteeld en voor een groot deel meer dan een eeuw oud. Handmatige pluk, gisting per perceel op wilde gisten, 8 maanden rijping in neutrale oude barriques. Ongefilterd en met slechts een minimale toevoeging van sulfiet gebotteld.

Beschrijving: Licht robijnrood met fleurige aroma's van rode kers, aardbeien, wilde kruiden, zwarte peper en een minerale vulkanische ondertoon. Licht van body, fris en levendig met fijne tannines en een sappige, ziltе afdronk.

Lekker bij: Licht gekoeld uitstekend bij gegrilde vis, paddenstoelen, jamón ibérico of tapas.

Leuk weetje: De Listán Prieto-druif — de hoofddruif van Benje Tinto — staat in Spanje ook bekend als 'País' of 'Mission' en is via de Spaanse conquistadores verspreid naar Chili, Argentinië en Californië, waar dezelfde druif de basis vormt van veel van de oudste wijnstokken ter wereld.

I recently purchased the SIHRMIU 2 Pack Dog Chew Toys for Aggressive Chewers with hopes of providing my energetic dogs with both entertainment and stimulation. While these toys boasted durability and were designed to alleviate boredom, my experience with them yielded mixed results. Upon receiving the chew toys, I appreciated their sturdy construction and the promise of durability, which was essential given my dogs' penchant for aggressive chewing. The variety of textures and shapes seemed promising, offering potential for engaging play sessions that could keep my pets occupied and mentally stimulated. Initially, my dogs showed some interest in the toys, eagerly sniffing and exploring them. They seemed intrigued by the different textures and shapes, and I was hopeful that these toys would provide the entertainment they needed. However, as my dogs began to interact more with the toys, it became evident that their interest was short-lived. While they engaged with the toys for brief periods, they quickly lost interest and returned to their usual chewing favorites. Despite their designation for aggressive chewers, the toys did not seem to withstand the intense chewing of my pets as well as expected. Within a short time, I noticed signs of wear and tear, with pieces starting to break off. While the SIHRMIU dog chew toys offered some stimulation and diversion for my dogs, they ultimately failed to hold their interest or stand up to their aggressive chewing habits. While they may be suitable for dogs with less voracious chewing tendencies, they were not a perfect fit for my pets. In conclusion, while these chew toys have potential and may work well for some dogs, they fell short of expectations for my aggressive chewers. I appreciate the effort put into their design and durability, but unfortunately, they did not meet the needs of my furry companions.
