Nottola is een van de meest representatieve en internationaal erkende wijnhuizen van Montepulciano. Onder de wijnen bevinden zich de Nobile di Montepulciano, Rosso di Montepulciano en de Super Tuscan 'Anterivo'.

Na een lange en prestigieuze carrière als bouwer werd Anterivo Giomarelli op een bepaald moment in zijn leven voortdurend betrokken bij de wereld van wijn. Dit leidde in 1992 tot de oprichting van zijn wijnmakerij die werd gebouwd naast de betoverende en historische Villa Bracci. Het wijnhuis is omgeven door boerderijen die al sinds de 18e eeuw een kelder, oliemolen, stallen en een graanschuur bevatten, typerend voor de Toscaanse architectonische traditie.
