Hij wordt hierin bijgestaan door een lokale BSAA agent, Sheva Alomar. Ze moeten samenwerken om de waarheid achter deze verontrustende gebeurtenissen aan het licht te brengen.

Voor het eerst in de reeks kan je in Resident Evil 5 aan de slag in een nieuwe co-op modus, waarin je met twee spelers samen dezelfde angsten moet doorstaan en de terreur moet zien te overleven.
