Cotoneaster suecicus ‘Coral Beauty’ is een sterke, laagblijvende en wintergroene struik die snel een dichte, bodembedekkende groei vormt. Deze plant is ideaal voor het bedekken van grote oppervlakken, taluds en randen in de tuin waar een onderhoudsarme en betrouwbare beplanting gewenst is.

In het voorjaar bloeit ‘Coral Beauty’ met kleine witte bloemen die aantrekkelijk zijn voor bijen en andere bestuivers. In de herfst en winter volgen opvallende feloranje tot rode bessen die lang aan de plant blijven en zorgen voor extra kleur én voedsel voor vogels.

Standplaats en verzorging
Cotoneaster suecicus ‘Coral Beauty’ groeit op vrijwel alle grondsoorten en is zeer flexibel in gebruik. Hij gedijt zowel in volle zon als in schaduw en is zeer onderhoudsarm. Een lichte snoei kan helpen om de plant compact en in vorm te houden, maar is meestal niet noodzakelijk.

Our kid ordered this behind our back

Well funny story…Our 5 year old actually ordered this without us knowing. He loves fgteev and so does his older brother. It had already shipped by the time we noticed (which was impressive because it was only maybe an hour later it shipped out) so we were all ready to give him a talking to and send it back when it arrived. Well that prime shipping was fast but still gave us time to think it over and give him a way to earn this book, as well as have a long talk about how you definitely don’t get on your parents phone and “buy” things. I guess there are worse things he could have ordered and he is passionate about reading at his young age and found a way to do chores around the house to earn it. Needless to say we do not let him use our phones anymore but this was a fun book to read and is a lot more tolerable than actually watching or listening to our kids watch fgteev. Also, be careful 5 year olds can be scary smart. I do not know how he even knew how to go through with searching for and ordering this book all within maybe 5 minutes of “playing a game on daddy’s phone” lol
