De wijngaarden liggen in Gamlitz, binnen de Südsteiermark DAC, een van de meest gerenommeerde wittewijnregio’s van Oostenrijk.

Druif en vinificatie

Chardonnay – Südsteiermark, Gamlitz
Chardonnay staat bekend om zijn veelzijdigheid en vermogen om terroir en vinificatie duidelijk te tonen.

De fermentatie en rijping vinden plaats in zowel roestvrijstalen tanks als gebruikte eikenhouten vaten gedurende minimaal 6 maanden. Deze combinatie zorgt voor balans tussen frisheid en subtiele houtinvloed, zonder dat het hout domineert.

Karakter en stijl

In het glas toont deze Chardonnay aroma’s van vanille, tropisch fruit en sappige peer, aangevuld met subtiele citrus en delicate tonen van eikenhout en bloemen. In de mond ontstaat een harmonie tussen mineraliteit en romigheid, waarbij frisheid en structuur in balans blijven.

Serveer rond 8–10 °C om frisheid en textuur optimaal te ervaren.
