De Mansion White Oak is een PVC-SPC visgraat vloer met een realistische eikenhouten uitstraling. Dankzij de voelbare houtstructuur (Embossed) is de vloer bijna niet te onderscheiden van echt hout. In combinatie met de 4-zijdige microvelling en matte finish wordt dit effect verder versterkt. Het voordeel van onze PVC-vloeren is dat ze zacht en comfortabel aanvoelen en geluiddempende eigenschappen hebben. Alle Comfort Click items van Solidfloor hebben een geïntegreerde ondervloer. Hierdoor kan de vloer rechtstreeks zwevend op de dekvloer worden geïnstalleerd en is er niet nog een extra ondervloer benodigd. Door het UniZip clicksysteem is het leggen een fluitje van een cent.

De Mansion kleur White Oak is uitgebracht als zowel brede delen, als visgraatvloer, zowel als Dryback en als Comfort Click. Zo hoeven er geen concessies te worden gedaan op de gewenste installatiemethode of ondergrond. Creëer eenheid in huis door een 100% match te maken met een visgraat in de woonkamer en een strokenvloer in de hal.

De totale dikte, inclusief 1 mm geïntegreerde ondervloer, is 7 mm. Door de geïntegreerde ondervloer worden tevens kleine oneffenheden in de dekvloer opgevangen en hoeft de vloer hierdoor nier perfect geëgaliseerd te zijn, wat in tegenstelling tot de Dryback-variant wel zo het geval is. Door de SPC-drager is de vloer extra stabiel en beter bestand tegen temperatuurschommelingen binnenshuis in vergelijking met traditionele PVC-vloeren. Hierdoor is de warmtegeleiding uitermate efficiënt en kan deze probleemloos op vloerverwarming en -koeling worden geïnstalleerd.

Solidfloor Mansion Comfort Click-vloeren bieden dezelfde voordelen voor de gebruiker als Mansion Dryback-vloeren: beide varianten zijn waterbestendig en onderhoudsarm. Dankzij de robuuste toplaag zijn de vloeren ook zeer slijtvast, waardoor ze geschikt zijn voor drukke huishoudens of intensief gebruikte commerciële ruimtes. Alle PVC-vloeren van Solidfloor zijn 100% waterdicht, waardoor ze geschikt zijn voor natte ruimtes zoals keukens en badkamers. In this seminal book, Fisher expounds his "narrative paradigm," a sweeping theory of human communication and more. Professor Emeritus at USC's Annenberg School of Communication, Fisher's discipline was rhetoric. But the book's subtitle -- "Toward a Philosophy of Reason, Value, and Action" -- isn't a stretch. Fisher's theory is a grand project extending its purview way beyond the communication department's door. At root is Fisher's rejection of what he calls the "rational world paradigm," which falsely separates logos from mythos, reason from imagination, fact from value. Doesn't work that way, Fisher says. No such thing as a value-free belief, assertion, or action. Instead, we evaluate according to a "logic of good reasons" -- reasons we value as good -- rooted in the narratives of our experience. An under-appreciated aspect of Fisher's work is the application of his theory to American politics. America's most enduring narrative is The American Dream. But that dream comprises two sub-narrative strands: the "materialistic myth" and the "moralistic myth." These two strands broadly represent conservative and progressive impulses respectively, but those threadbare categories don't do Fisher's explication justice. The two myths find their roots in the narratives of the earliest Americans, and have been battling it out ever since. It's a credible understanding of the history of American public moral debates.

Wlater R. Fisher is an expert in his field. His grasp of classical theory is daunting. Human Communication as Narrative explains his new theory well. However, it IS an insider's book, intended for scholars. I have a master's degree in rhetoric and composition, and my progress through it was slow--however, this was more attributable to my having stopped at an MA than it was to Fisher. I found his theory exhaustively researched, skillfully and thoughfully developed, and eminently applicable to the practice of contemporary rhetorical study. I would regard this book as a must-have for any serious student of rhetoric.
