Het is een prachtig geïllustreerde, complete gids van bijzondere kristallen en hun geneeskrachtige werkingen en hun effecten op de omgeving en op karma. Hij bevat onder andere beschrijvingen van kristallen voor energieversterking en reiniging van ruimten en het kristal-medicijnwiel. De auteur werkt reeds meer dan dertig jaar met (half)edelstenen en heeft, vooral door haar intuitieve benadering, een grote kennis van kristallen opgebouwd. Haar inzichten heeft zij vastgelegd in een drietal boeken. Deze 'kristallenbijbel' is een praktische en handige gids en informeert de lezer over bekende edelstenen, maar ook over minder bekende 'Nieuwe Tijds'-kristallen, die met hun zeer hoge vibraties helpen communicatie met andere dimensies te bevorderen. Hall gaat in op de achtergrond en vorming van kristallen, hun decoratieve eigenschappen, geneeskrachtige werking hoe kristallen te kiezen en te verzorgen, de diverse vormen, de samenhang tussen kristallen en de dierenriemtekens, het lichaam, de aura enz., maar het grootste deel ruimt zij in voor het beschrijven van ruim tweehonderd kristallen. Ook daar valt de overzichtelijke indeling op: naam, foto, ingekaderde informatie over kleur, uiterlijk, zeldzaamheid en vindplaats, waarna kenmerken (praktisch en esoterisch), genezing en positie aan de orde komen. Een goed in de hand liggende gids, verzorgd, helder taalgebruik, schitterende illustraties, brede informatie, aantrekkelijke kaft en zeker door het bespreken van 'nieuwe' kristallen de moeite waard voor geinteresseerde leken en therapeuten.

High Quality, Firm Pillow

I purchased a two-pack queen-size. They were extremely difficult to remove from the packaging case (without another person's assistance) to the point that I had to get scissors and cut the packaging case to be able to remove them. Once I was able to remove the plastic wrapping from the pillow, the pillow fluffed up nicely. First I tried it as a hugging pillow, then I tried it as a sleeping pillow (I am a side sleeper). This is a firm pillow. I would rate it as an 8, on a scale of 1-10, with 1 being ultra plush, and 10 being extra firm. It is not the most ideal as a hugging pillow, as a softer pillow would be better, but it still did well. I feel that it did pretty well as a sleeping pillow, sleeping on my side, as its on the firmer side, and I felt I was not sinking into the pillow as I would with a softer pillow. There was little smell coming out of the packaging and was almost non-existent by the time I used it to sleep. I have decided to keep this pillow due to its high quality materials.

Strong memory foam smell and more memory foam needed.

My husband and I both think these pillows are very comfortable! Which for me is really great, since I have been trying to find a comfortable pillow for several years without success, until now. Our only complaint is the strong chemical smell of the memory foam filling. When they arrived, I opened them up and let them air for 48 hours and fluffed them in the dryer per the instructions. They still had a strong odor, so I removed the zippered covers, washed and air dryed them over night. I hoped between that and letting the thin cloth sack containing the memory foam, air out another night, the smell would be gone, but it wasn't. We decided to sleep on them anyway. UPDATE: We have been sleeping on them now for 9 nights and the smell is finally lessening. The initial fluff the pillows had from putting them in the dryer is now gone and we are wishing more memory foam had came with them. We both started out using all the foam they came with, but after sleeping on them for 9 nights, they have flattened. I re-fluff them with my hands every morning when I make the bed, but it doesn't last long. We wish they had come with more memory foam, so they could be more supportive.
