Le Revenant is een prachtige 100% Carignan. 15% van de wijn werd vergist op eikenhouten vaten en vervolgens samengevoegd en gedurende 7 maanden gerijpt in roestvrijstalen tanks. 

Een gulle wijn met aroma’s van rood en zwart fruit. Mooi aanwezige tannines en een aangename rondheid in de mond, met kruidige toetsen.

Deze wijn past perfect bij vleesgerechten, stoofschotels of desserts met chocolade.

Domaine La Rouviole ligt in het hart van de Cru La Livinière en de appellatie Minervois, op wat men hier “de kleine causse” noemt.

Het domein beslaat bijna 36 hectare, waarvan 26 hectare wijngaarden en enkele percelen met olijfbomen. Het is letterlijk omringd door de geurige garrigue. Op 300 meter hoogte, op een klei-kalkstenen terroir, komen mediterrane invloeden en de frisheid van de heuvels samen. Deze unieke combinatie geeft onze wijnen hun uitgesproken karakter en verfijnde typiciteit.

Dankzij het werk van Denis Arquié, een wijnbouwer die overtuigd is van biodynamische landbouw, werd het domein in 2024 bekroond met het Demeter-keurmerk.

Hand size mighty grinder

Hi- I think this is a good grinder although to this point I ground about 2/3 of the glass chamber full of a good quality peppercorn. I like a coarse grind and this device gives that grind consistently. I like the cover and it's fit. The overall look is pleasing and think it's a good bang for the buck. It's easy to use and adjusts to your personal needs or wants. If your debating this device and am worried if you'll get years of use I know I don't force it but rather learn to allow the tool to do the work. I think it will last me for quite a while and even if I have to replace it once a year it's a well built unit that you can enjoy using. If you have arthritic hands and use this for hard products like fresh peppercorns or coarse Himalayan salt then treat yourself to a good rechargeable grinder (or better yet ask your children to get you one for all the great meals you make for them & have made for them !)
