In dit uitdagende bordspel strijden de spelers om de opvolging van de Koningskroon. Ze moeten hun acties en raadslieden tactisch en strategisch inzetten om zo de grootste weldoener voor de burgers van Emara te worden! De speler die aan de beurt is, kiest steeds één van zijn kaarten, de locatie waar hij deze speelt en het raadslid dat hij in die beurt wil zetten. Hij heeft raadslieden op het land en in de stad. In elk van beide gebieden kan hij verschillende soorten acties met zijn raadslieden uitvoeren. Een speler doet er goed aan om veel burgers te verzamelen en huizen voor hen te bouwen, want alleen tevreden burgers zullen uiteindelijk op hem stemmen en hem de Kroon brengen!
