Deze console tafel is gemaakt van gerecycled hardhout en heeft een stoere, zwarte tint met een rustieke, vintage uitstraling. Oorspronkelijk werden deze klaptafels gebruikt bij Indiase bruiloften, festivals en openbare gelegenheden. Ze reisden mee op vrachtwagens, werden opgebouwd voor de duur van het feest en daarna weer ingeklapt om verder te gaan naar de volgende bestemming.Onze vintage klaptafels zijn authentiek en hebben een geleefde uitstraling; ze zijn niet nieuw of kunstmatig verouderd. Door de jaren heen hebben ze sporen van gebruik gekregen, zoals markeringen en krassen, die passen bij hun leeftijd en originele functie. Sommige exemplaren tonen nog oude ijzeren strips, aangebracht als reparatie, die nu bijdragen aan hun unieke karakter. De tafel wordt stevig vergrendeld door twee ijzeren stangen die onder het blad in de voorgeboorde gaten van de poten worden geplaatst. Hierdoor staat de tafel stabiel en kun je hem zowel binnen als buiten gebruiken, bijvoorbeeld ook als tuintafel tijdens een diner of feestje. Wanneer hij wordt ingeklapt, is de tafel slechts enkele centimeters dik, waardoor hij eenvoudig op te bergen is. Iedere tafel is uniek, doordat ze allemaal van gerecycled hout zijn gemaakt en licht kunnen verschillen in uiterlijk of afmetingen.
De console tafel is vervaardigd uit FSC-gecertificeerd hout en metaal. Met het juiste onderhoud blijft hij jarenlang mooi en stevig. Voor gebruik binnen volstaat het om de houten delen twee keer per jaar te behandelen met teakolie. Voor buitengebruik breng je aan het begin en einde van het seizoen teakolie aan op het hout, terwijl de metalen onderdelen behandeld kunnen worden met lak- of lijnzaadolie. Voor extra gemak kun je de hele tafel licht insmeren met lijnzaadolie, wat het hout en metaal extra beschermt.

Decent driver, but no real torque control

As others have noted, this driver works well overall, but would be better if the head could go to 90° instead of just 45°, and it comes in an extremely hard to open package. I'd like to point out a couple of other things that I haven't seen mentioned.
First, although this tool claims to have torque control via the three-level setting on the handle, it's not like most drills and drivers. With them, when the maximum torque setting is reached, a clutch disengages and the tool just 'freewheels.' But this Skil driver runs until the motor stalls, and its three settings merely control when that happens. In practical terms, that means the tool can wrench your wrist pretty badly. Even at the lowest setting the torque is considerable, making it all too easy to strip threads or even break off screw heads. This also makes it more likely to injure your wrist.
Also, in case it wasn't obvious, this tool's battery is not user-replaceable. If it runs out of power in the middle of a job... too bad. And when eventually it gets to the point where it will no longer hold a charge, Skil's only suggestion is to "Have the tool serviced by an Authorized SKIL Service Station." If you can find one, that is. If you don't want a disposable tool, this is probably not for you.
Don't get me wrong--I like this driver, and it has already come in handy in a few situations where my regular drill/driver would have been too bulky to fit. But it's good to know its limitations.
Skil also makes a smaller, less expensive 4 V screwdriver that lacks the adjustable-angle head of this one. If a straight power screwdriver is all you need, that one is worth considering:
